We rent via this website to book a car every time when we go to Austria, about 5 times in a row. Cars were provided by different companies, but we had remarks to them just once, when the tires were in a rather poor condition. Apart from that – excellent experience every time, helpful staff, online booking service on a high level and a lot of cars to choose from. On our last rental we covered about 1,500 km trouble free. Cancelled my car rental less than @24 hrs before my scheduled pickup even though I left a deposit and received a voucher. Conveniently offered me a car for twice the amount that was originally quoted. Totally tied to take advantage of my desperate situation. Never trust booking company with any travel needs. Employees including supervisors are uncaring and unwilling to compromise or provide any sort of customer service. (read more)

I showed up to pick up my car and it wasn't there. The rental agent offered my family of four a tiny car for our ski holiday as compensation. Instead, we went to another company and paid a premium last minute price for a car. When we asked for a refund, we were told that BookingGroup had already charged our card and we'd have to appeal to them for a refund. They do not answer ANY of the telephone numbers listed on their website. They do not respond to e-mail no matter how many you send.... (read more)

Initially I rated this company very high - they had good proces, excellent communication however, I waited for a week before I was told that they could not providecars that I had wanted to rent. A week is too long to wait when you were told that the vehicles are available only to be told that they are not when you really needed them. Surely the system you use should be efficient and capable of detecting available cars so that they can bebooked immediately. (read more)

Never heard them before. Got to know through web search. They had the best deal for the vehicle I was looking for. To be honest, took a chance to go with them as neither me or non of my friends know about them. The initial deposit was only about 15% and the rest I had to pay only on vehicle collection. That gave me some confidence. In the end everything(the vehicle, service, etc.) were as promised and excellent. I am totally happy and would definitely go back to them for my next need. (read more)

Had our worst car rental experience ever with a 4 by 4 wagon rented in alice spring Europecar through bookinggroup.com. Prices were quoted wrong with a dramatic base price + milage allowance difference (in around 500AUD). Prices and service condition quoted on the voucher are basically MEANINGLESS with the way Europcar and Bookinggroup.com handle their business and customers. I rentad car at two occasions from Rentalgroup.com during our vacation in Brazil. If was a catastrophy!!! First in Rio, the address to the office was wrong and when I found the right address they did not have any cars. It was a lot of arguing with other customers so it seams that not only I had problems.
