“Horrible customer Service”

If you can understand the agents on the phone when you call to extend a rental you're lucky -- and they get quite testy if you ask them to repeat. Avis now charges a $10 fee to extend a rental UNLESS it is for less than 7 hours - but they won't tell you that. I had one agent tell me by accident and when I called back later the next agent told me for certain there was a $10 change fee on every extension -- until I called her out on it and then she relented saying ok, if its less than 7 hours there's no fee. When I ask what happens if I just return it late she told me she couldn't be responsible for what the local site charged me. ??? Sorry people -- If i want to keep a Hertz car for an extra day I don't even have to call -- just keep it and extra day - no change, no penalty.
