I rented a car from auckland bcd. They refused to walk the car with me which had damage. They made me sign a paper that said it didn't. So I called the 800 number to report it. They said I would not be held liable for the damage. When I returned the car to the airport location they walked the car and said all was well. They gave me a receipt and sent me on my way. Five hours later they called to tell me they had crawled up underneath the car and a seal was broken and charged me $1000 for it.
