I needed to hire a car at short notice 3 days before leaving for Sofia Bulgaria and went on the auto Europe site and received a reasonable quote to pick up a car in Sofia (180GBP for 10 days), they advised that within 24 hrs would get confirmation email. this did not come through so contacted them and they advised they are still dealing with local supplier but would get back to me. Over the next 24 hrs no response from the auto Europe although they advised would be calling on the hour for updates each time telling me no problem and just a confirmation email all sorted, i had to leave but they advised that the car would be sorted and that go to Bulgaria national desk in Sofia on arrival the next morning. On arrival in Sofia I was amazed to find that Bulgaria National did not even have a desk in the terminal building so contacted the Auto Europe and was very annoyed, no apologies left me hanging on telephone and than after 15 mins at considerable expense to me he advised that no case was available at this price but they could get me one for 700£ , I expressed my anger and the service agent hung up on me. I will never use this company again and suggest that they were just stringing me along to get me to pay an higher price.

Dear Mr Fuller, communication is very important with last minute bookings and if our Reservation Team failed to contact you with the update and options on your booking then that is something that our Management Team will address.
