Booked a car through them for 5 days, to use in Spain. There was no mention about any particular fuel policy during the booking process, so one could well assume that this would be the standard "pick up full, return full" policy. Only after I'd paid and received the voucher, I noticed that the fuel policy of the car rental company (Budget) was an abusive one, and one which Auto Europe had not warned me of: you had to buy a full tank of petrol (overpriced even, at almost double the average price per litre!), with no refunds given for any unused petrol at the end of the booking.
I should have seen something like this coming judging by the way the booking went - site broke down and could not handle online bookings, so had to book over the phone, on an international call, with a slow and untrained operator.

See, the thing I enjoy most about Auto Europe's website and staff is that the information is always there!
If you click on the terms and conditions link below every car option - it gives you a simple read of what to expect upon pick-up of your vehicle.
It seems problems in car rental are often due to people not reading the terms and conditions.
First thing I do.

Dear Customer
We are sorry that you have problems with our supplier in Spain. We do have the fuel policy clearly stated in our Terms & Conditions, which you must accept before completing the booking and the information is printed on our vouchers.
If you would like to contact our Customer Service Team you can do so using the following link: http://www.auto-europe.co.uk/contact.cfm
Many Thanks
