STAY AWAY!
The first and last time we will use this company. Booked a car for a holiday in Oz and paid upfront for everything bar child car seat and sat nav which had to be paid to Thrifty at the airport. Or at least we thought we'd paid for everything else. Turned out that despite paying for excess waiver insurance, which we thought was the same as Thriftys but they wanted to charge again, we were forced to pay 400 dollar deposit and taxes on the booking. Not disclosed in any of our booking documents with Atlas. So having raised this through their antiquated online contact form we went on to receive by far the worst customer service I think we've ever experienced. Not once did their communication with us come across as caring and not once did they greet us or give us a name. In fact they just kept sending information which was obviously copied and pasted from an internal system which became gobbledygook in an email. Completely unprofessional and they're just ignoring us now. Good businesses are built on customer service, when something goes wrong this is where a customer either becomes loyal to their service or puts them and everyone they know off. Atlas certainly fall into the latter. Take our advice, DO NOT USE.
