Would give less than one star if it were an option!

We were wary of using Atlaschoice, because of the unbelievable amount of extremely poor reviews online, but as we were on a tight budget for our short break, we decided to give them a go. We booked online, checking and making sure that every detail we inputted was correct. When we'd finished and put our payment details in we had about 4 emails in quick succession, each saying a different thing - either 'we have been unable to process your booking' or 'congratulations, your booking has been successful', which in itself was rather worrying, as we didn't know which one to believe! We then got another email through to say that Atlas were confirming the booking with their partner, but the problem was, the details were completely wrong! The pick up and drop off times were incorrect and they had added an additional driver. I called up to try and amend the booking and after waiting an absolute age on hold, got through to a extremely rude man, who would not let me explain myself and just kept talking over me and saying that I was wrong and basically accused me of lying! He then said he would have to re-calculate the price of our rental, as our collection time was later which would affect the booking (this is not including the 'out of hours fee' that we had already agreed to on the original booking) and the prices change daily. The rude man, conveniently for them, calculated a far more expensive price for us, but would not answer or even acknowledge any of my questions as to why this had happened - this was an absolute scheme in my opinion. I was not willing to pay the extra and did not want to risk anything by continuing with the booking (if this is how poor the initial customer service was, the rest didn't seem worth it), so I cancelled my booking and will be using a more reputable company for our holiday car rental!
