I got a few quotes from Atlas, then made up my mind which one to go for and the website said that the car wasn't available at that location and to call the office. I called the office to receive an automated reply telling me their office was closed and to call back during office hours. I called the next day, and was told by an operator at Atlas that the price quoted had increased overnight by £152. After I protested he offered me £100 off. I said I wasn't happy with this and he then took off a further £40, which meant I had to pay £12 more than the original quote. I reluctantly paid this, but I am now worried that it may all go horribly wrong when I go to pick up my car at the airport rental office. I anticipate that they will get the extra money off me some way or other. It doesn't instill much confidence in me unfortunately.
I hope I am wrong!!
