Izmir Airport, Turkey. My experience was partly my fault as I had failed to print off the car hire details. I did remember that it was Atlas car hire but that didn't help as there wasn't a kiosk with that name. I managed to get a phone number for them and eventually got served by a very pleasant English speaking gentleman. It turns out they had tried to phone my wife on the previous day but she didn't answer it as she didn't recognise the number, equally, they didn't leave a message. The car was ok but was left with no petrol in it and innevitably it came back with more than it started. Dropping off the car was also a problem as I was at international departures and they were based in domestic arrivals. We eventually found each other after several phone calls.
