excellent value car rental

Only paid £55 for 2 weeks rental. Luz Ocean Drive, the car provider, supplied us with a Seat Ibiza - 5-door with a/c. Car and value excellent... The representative was very courteous but surprised me with a 15 euro airport tax and a 15 euro 'instigation' charge for the toll system which did not include any toll credit... Last year I paid 20 euro for the instigation charge but got 15 euro credit included. So a bit disappointed... Still not sure who was getting the extra 10 euros...
I was told the airport tax was due to extra charges applied by the airport to the car hire companies. They can only have a hire car in the car park for maximum of an hour and they still have to pay for that, in the terminal, so we had to wait for 15 minutes whilst he went off to pay so we could exit the car park....
No problems returning the car. But we had to return it dead on time 'cos of the car park charging. You now have to get a ticket to get into the car park.. and the appropriate button on the entry machine isn't obvious... (it's a white socket rather than a button)
All in all great value and problem-free. just a touch more expensive than expected
