Undecided about AtlasChoice service

At the moment I am not sure whether to be disappointed or pleased with AtlasChoice.

Initially I viewed quote from AtlasChoice online and it stated "unlimited km's" was included. Unfortunately I didn't save a copy of the quote as I thought I would never need it (tip: always save your quotes/have them emailed to you as proof).

After I made the payment to AtlasChoice, I received the car rental voucher but there was no mention of km's or any restriction of km's in the voucher.

When I arrived at the rental counter I was informed that I did not have unlimited km's and only have 250km's per day. When I mentioned it to the representive she said its not stated on the voucher and she cant change it anyways, so I will have to pay for the additional km's, if travelled.

As I had already booked my hotel accomodation which was futher than the alloted km's I had no choice but to take the rental car. As a result I had to pay double the rental fee just for the excess km's to the car hire company.

If I had known the km's were limited then I would have used another car rental agency or I would have booked an extra day to cover the additional km's I planned to travel which would have been much cheaper.

I have reported this to AtlasChoice on their website. They have requested the documents for the additional payments to investigate but I guess I will have to see if anything comes from this.
