Overall I am happy. After being met in the arrivals terminal by a friendly and English speaking chap, I was lead away to the Surprice (the local car hire company) booth to complete the formalities, which were swift. The car was clean and performed well.
The only niggles were:
- The rep was late, giving me a bit of anxiety when I arrived (nobody there to meet me) so I called them;
- Calling the number on the booking confirmation met with an answerphone message;
- Whilst the car was of the engine and seating class described in the booking, it was not of the same quality. I.e. Hyundai Atoz instead of Peugeot 107. But I must stress that the car was fine;
- Didn't like the way my credit card was "rubbed" manually onto their paper records and that was never given back to me. Not sure that complies with PCI rules.
Gotta say that overall I am happy, though, and would use again. Also, the price was extremely competitive.
