Got to basel airport having hired almost the rock bottom car as it was just the two of us. When we got there it wasn't immediately obvious which desk atlas choice were at as the 'dollar' brand wasn't showing amongst the various big brand desks. Eventually we were pointed towards hertz and sure enough our details were there waiting.

Very professional service and we took the 'upsale' of a Mini Cooper and the all risks cover - knowing we were visiting the alps but more crucially Italy - anyone who's been there knows why!

Brilliant car, friendly and knowledgeable man at the desk, no quibbles or weird unclear surcharges, no fuss over the driver having to pay the deposits rather than passenger, no mileage limits or country restrictions.

Will use again. But please make it clearer which desk 'dollar' is at and on the paperwork it should be clearer that dollar is even the brand to look for.
