Our flight was delayed so by the time we arrived in Spain there was no one answering the 'Del Paso' office phone. We were stranded at the airport with our 3yr old, forced to pay a 19 euro taxi and a 60 euro hotel at 1 am. The next morning I was told that there was no car available not only at 'del paso' but at any of the Atlas companies. I cannot believe they consider themselves a professional business without something as basic as a delayed flight contingency plan to avoid distress to their clients.
Once we had paid for another taxi back to the airport and spent 3 hours hiring a car from another company for 320 euros we had lost a day of our holiday and spent an extra 420 euros.
The experience basically ruined our holiday which could have been easily avoided by a simple contingency plan for clients who's flights are delayed. It is not an excuse to say they tried ringing as we would clearly have been mid-flight.
A real shame that our only holiday got off to such an awful start. Thoroughly disappointing.
