AltasChoice is a brooker to various rental companies. In our case, to FireFly, a subsidary of Hertz. The car we paid for (an estate or equivalent) was not available and we were given no choice but to trade down to a smaller car. In addition we had to pay several hidden charges that were not advertised when we made the booking: compulsory full tank charge (25% more expensive than petrol stations), rental for the toll device and a credit car fee.

To top things up, we tried to contact AltasChoice emergency number when we picked up the car...but their offices were closed !
