When we picked up the car from Advantage, we were told there was no insurance outside Spain. There was no mention of this when I booked or in any of the emails I received.
All the other people picking up cars at the same time had the same problem. Most people hiring cars at this time of year in Barcelona are going to Andorra.
Oh and the battery failed on the last day
