Argus / Atesa car hire in Spain - car: Citroen C4 - the experience was a good one overall: the online support was good, the price was confirmed on location(the price was a bit high, I think, though), the car was comfortable (though not the make we thought we'd get), etc.
What can be improved: customer welcome (the lady at the front desk at the pick up was not the charmest one around... she did speak English though...); there were certain scratches and dents on the external mirrors that hadn't been marked in the sketch of the car upon pick up, so I went back to the office to make sure that they confirmed the damages before I left with the car - done, with no problems, too; there was no manual in the car and so we did not immediately understand how to use the various nuts and bolts of the onboard 'computer' - quite a pain the neck, I can tell you; the cigarette lighter plug wasn't working so I could not set up my navigator (I found an Atesa office and they told me that the connections for navigators in Spain were 'different' and that people in Spain used the USB connector - so I could not use my navigator...), but I knew that sometimes it's simply a question of fuses, so I went to a mechanic and... yes... it was a fuse problem - he substituted it and I used my navigator through the cigarette lighter - beautiful!
So overall it was ok, but maybe they should go over the details, too...
