The whole experience was smooth and efficient from booking to collecting our car at the Hertz desk at Cairns Airport. The car was a current model Holdern Epica, plenty of boot space and very clean. We left our car hire booking to the last minute (not realising that the School Holidays had started) and it was great that Argus Car Hire was the only company that had cars left to book - but not having heard of them before - we were a bit concerned as to whether there would be a car ready for us at the other end ?? Much to our surprise, the car was ready and waiting for us and the Hertz desk staff where very efficient in helping us get on our way. The car was lovely to drive - we elected to take out the Collision Damage Waiver at a very reasonable price - even the Hertz people couldn't have done better. All in all, the car hire went without a hitch!! We would definitely us Argus Hire Car again and will recommend them to our friends.
