“Worst of the Worst !!!!!!!!”

Booked a couple of weeks ago with Argus.Advised them that I only had a VISA debit. Due to fly on Friday and on Wednesday Argus contact me to say that the car I booked was not available for hire on debit card (I don't have credit due to my religion) but they could hire me one for another £55 extra.

As you can imagine I declined and asked for my deposit back only to be told that as it was within 48 hours of hire then there would be no refund.

These are SCAM merchants they were fully aware of my booking requirements.
See other reviews on alternate sites and don't book with these con artists.
