LAX CAR HIRE. Unfortunately the 'quick' online form filling exercise at the pick-up centre itself was very long winded and easy to make mistakes - consequently had to waste time getting that bit wrong then have to queue to the customer service to get it corrected - the customer service people were great so don't bother with the computer terminal!
We had a GPS with the car - unfortunately the power cable for the unit had a very dodgy connection so we kept losing power when using the GPS, sod's law usually just when we needed the unit to tell us where to go! On reporting this to Alamo when we dropped the car off the service personnel was very apologetic but was unable to make any concessions via his terminal so I was told to call the service centre - but I was heading for the airport and a flight out so no opportunity to do this. I will be attempting to contact Alamo service centre from here (home, in UK)
The car itself was very good and comfortable.
