Booked a car through 121carhire.com for my trip to Portugal and received a voucher for Airauto, the pick up was quite a trek from arrivals to P4 and there was only 1 person serving so a very long line formed with no seats or shade from the 35deg. Quite a variance in car quality mine had 63,000k on the clock and was a little damaged, saying this it ran well and i had no issues during my 600k travelled. A note to the wise is that when returning Airauto operate out the back of a van and do not arrive on site until 8am, there is also now the toll charge on the A22 which needs to be paid at the post office which would prove difficult if using the A22 to return the car early on a Saturday, this applies to all rental companies not just airauto.
All in all the experience was fine, good price, no annoying extras and no over the top charge for a tank of fuel, you returned with as much fuel as was in the tank when you picked it up.
