We booked two cars via internet. Email contact was quick and very friendly. Great advantage: there is no deposit necessary! This way there were no risks for us in case something went wrong. But nothing went wrong, everything was arranged perfectly and on time. We had two nice cars and used the half full delivery and pick-up service for fuel so there wasn't any gas payed for which we didnt use. “Car hire in Menorca”

After doing some research I decided to try a local menorcan company called Sol cars As this was our first visit to Menorca I was unsure of the road layout and finding our way to to the villa. The girl from Sol cars was ever so helpful. She met us at the airport, we signed the form and packed the car. She then penciled in the route to our resort on our map, then read the directions given by the villa owner and showed us exactly where to find it. She then recommended a few places to visit... 10 out of 10 The lady at Solcars was very helpful from making the booking on-line to picking it up, nothing was too much trouble. She even made sure I knew the way to out villa, a nice touch. We normally used large national company's but after reading about some of the tricks they use decided to go with a recommendation for a smaller local company, Solcars and I'm glad I did.
