“DO NOT USE !!!!!! Complete robbers”

Just got back from Mallorca and feel like this company wore a mask and held a gun to my head. Total robbing bandits never ever use this company. At the start of the holiday had to wait god knows how long to be seen in the blazing heat with no shade with two small children, when finally got to the counter very ignorant, arrogant staff no explanation given as to what any of the charges where for had to ask another customer if they knew. CAREFUL... when I left Ibiza I drop my car near the airport,well park, to a friend who bring it for me. OK RENT saw the car well park and pick up my vehicule 3 hours before the end of the contrat and call me in the afternoon (I was back at home) to say "you abandon the car, so our services are 140€ for you " !!! First the positive - it was a good, clean car. Now the rest - all negative. We were kept waiting for one and a half hours to be collected from the airport and our attempts to contact the firm via the broker (DoYouSpain) were utterly futile. When they finally picked us up there was no explanation or apology for the delay. Just came back form Mallorca week trip with my family and those so o bches managed to spoil all the good mood and impression about the island. They WILL find a scratch even if you thoroughly check and indicate all the scratches on taking the car. The thing is they mask the scratches with special paste and after a weekly period it just falls off and vuola - they take your franchise. Never ever use this company! There is something sinister and shady about this crowd. Alarm bells started ringing when I saw price lists of damage costs on the walls in the office. I believe I fell for the dirty car trick. When I pointed out at collection that the outside was dirty( the inside was spotless) they blamed a broken hose. I rented a car in Palma de Mallorca through a broker which proposed really interesting prices. around 100€ for a week. First thing annoying. OK rent a car don't have an agency at the airport. You have to wait and take what they call a "courtesy bus" to go to their agency. 20 min later you have to wait around 30-45 min in the agency to have your car. Then they insist for you to pay their extra insurance even if you give a Premier Credit Card... But ok, every rental company do that... They... (read more)

It is at the fist time heap to rent a car , But you have to pay when you delever the car back. We were half a hour too early. We could pay 59EUR or waite half an hour!. The we had to pay 180 eur for a Little spot from a stone. The steel the money from you. (read more)

Completamente de acuerdo los comentarios. A nosotros nos ha pasado lo mismo salvo que si cogimos el seguro a todo riesgo y nos dijeron que tenía un golpe en la llanta (que no lo cubría el seguro que habíamos cogido). Evidentemente el golpe de la llanta no lo había dado yo... Además, de esperar más de una hora tanto al ir a por el coche como por devolverlo. Ah! no existen hojas de reclamación. En la devolucion de los vehiculos siempre te roban! Te entregan un vehiculo lleno de arañazos y golpes y en la hoja te marcan todos salvo alguno muy muy pequeño... y cuando cuando devuelves el coche, como tienes franquicia de 500€ te cobran lo que quieren por el supuesto golpe o arañazo.... Kept waiting for almost 40 minutes for the mini bus to take you to collect your car. Most uncomfortable, hot when all you want to do is get to your destination. You arrive at the rental unit to be kept waiting again!!!!! this time for almost an hour!!!!!!!!!!! Cuidado con OKrentacar, al final hay que pagar mucho mas por el auto. Empieza con el truco del combustible: te lo entregan lleno y lo devuelves vacio. Te cobran 100 € por el tanque lleno y vacio nunca lo vas a poder devolver. Al devolver el auto me cobraron 30 € por aspirar la arena, que segun ellos era mucha y 180 € por limpieza de los asientos, que segun ellos tenian manchas de crema para el sol que no habian antes. I've just returned from Palma de Mallorca where rented a car with OK Rent A Car. The prices were definetelly low and my Fiat 500 auto was new. I booked it for 270 euro per week but payed 330 (incl full tank of fuel and service fee). But there was a thing i should pay attention while renting - they made me to mark all the damages on the car by myself without any assistence... No matter if you are spanish or foreigner, this company will try to scam you. It's 15 minutes away fromt the airport and they will make you more than 20 minutes. They will try to give you a lower class of car. You will have an extra charge like: filling your tank, or assistanfe. Your fuel tank will be full and you will get no money back if you give it back with some fuel in the tank. Si queréis ir a Mallorca y queréis reservar un coche de alquiler NO OS RECOMIENDO la empresa OK RENT A CAR porque abusan del cliente de una manera desproporcionada. 10 minutes from the airport and when they have you there you cannot walk away when they extort money for fuel at highly inflated prices and then tell you you must pay an extra 70 Euros insurance or face a 700-1000 Euro excess. The company is far from the airport meaning you will probably be in a hurry when leaving back the car, and you will be in their hands for tranport with their shuttle bus, a fact that they are perfectly aware of. I have rented cars many times in Spain and I know about the risks. But in this case no matter how you do, Its dead certain that they WILL find something on the car that you will be asked to pay for.
