For a number of years now we rent three times a year a car from EDI. A simple Email is sufficient Always the car we wanted in time on the airport. No waiting for formalities. Always flexible. Went away for 26 days to our Villa in Cal a Dor Alicante and hired three cars for three seperate families. The cars were all very clean,spacious. The service was far more than would be expected from a hire company and the fee quoted was exactly what we paid, there were no hidden extra's, unlike many car hire companies which we have used from Alicante airport. We have used Edi Car Hire for 3 Years; When quoted a price, that means the total, nothing more on collection or delivery of Car. Simply leave the same amount of Fuel in Car, as when collected. Even when all Cars out, somehow they will get a Car for you. Family run Business, so you are a Name, not a number. And fact is, Edi Cars have been here in Spain for some 25 Years, so on collection of Car, if you have another problem, they have the experience to help you out, and see you on your way... (read more)

We have used Edi since the business was started, which is probably over 25 years. When we rented our property we always recommended Edi to our guests. Everyone was delighted with personal sevice, simple contract (no hidden nasties like paying for a tank of petrol that cost more than you could get in there) and ease of collecting and returning the car to the airport. We have used EDIRENTACAR for over 10 years. The charges are very fair and there are no hidden extras. This family run business could not be more obliging. Child booster seats are free, no extra "insurance" and no need to pay for a tank of fuel you do not want. The cars are located directly on the airport so there is no need to waste time taking a bus to an off-site location. The route to the cars is completely under cover at the new airport.
