All in all a very happy experience. Normally dread the whole holiday car hire hassle. Not so with Drivalia. Saw them well recommended on Trip Advisor.
I booked on line on their own website and took out the additional insurance package which is not cheap. However, good to have the peace of mind about scratches and broken windows etc.

Can't speak highly enough about the staff we dealt with both on arrival and drop off. Friendly, helpful and courteous. Also we were given an upgrade, which was very much appreciated. The car was almost new and in excellent condition. We also appreciated having the full to full fuel option.

We will be back again in Feb of next year and will definately be using Drivalia again and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Our optional Premium cover is of course a small additional expense but as you said it gives complete peace of mind because unlike other online policies it is direct with us which means no deposit, no worries and in the event of anything happening you know that you can call our multi-lingual team for fast assistance without ever having to worry about paying a single centimo. Actually we are proud of the fact that our Premium cover is one of the lowest priced comparable options from all of the local companies and we do work hard to offer this complete peace of mind at the most competative prices. Obviously if you compare the low prices of car hire with those of a decade ago you will find that even with our full Premium cover you are probably still paying considerably less for a week of car hire than back then!
