This was our second visit to Alicante and our second time using Drivalia. I can honestly say this is the best hire company i have ever came across. We hired for 4 days and hired on a full to empty basis. The car didnt go back empty due to not doing too much driving but it seemed cheaper this way and we dis not feel out of pocket even retrning the car with Half a tank! On both ocassions we have always taken the extra insurance and we were glad we did. Unfortunatey driving on the opposite side of the road we clipped a kerb that was jutting out and punctured a wheel. We called drivalia and nothing was too much trouble. They xouldnt help us enough and advised us there was notihing to pay due to the insurance we paid for. The lady on pick up and return was lovely and the bus was waiting for us on both ocassions. Perfect service. Top class

It´s always nice to hear positive comments from our clients especially when there is an incident such as your experience with the wheel and everything turned out ok!

You are absolutely right that the Premium cover is well worth the small extra cost for the peace of mind that it offers - not just from a financial point of view if anything happens but also for the knowledge that if anything does happen you just need to make one call and we deal with everything for you. In fact if you compare car rental prices in Spain to those of a decade ago, even adding on the full cover the prices still compare extremely favourably to back then!

Anyway, what is important is that the minor incident you experienced resulted in being nothing more than a small inconvenience and that we were able to resolve the issue and get you back on the road quickly.
