I have rented cars in Spain on many occasions and at many locations including Alicante Airport. My experience this time was completely up to expectation. Easy 5 minute shuttle to the pick-up office. Short queue. Was given the option of returning the car FULL or EMPTY (I chose FULL) which I was very happy about. No one can return a car empty when they need to catch a flight, and that scheme is, in my opinion, daylight robbery! Brand new KIA CEED 1.4 with only 600 kilometers on the clock. This car proved to be a perfect car for our four week rental period, which included a road trip from Alicante to Seville and back, as well as plenty of local trips to the beaches. Even the windscreen washer container was full with decent fluid (not always the case with other suppliers). Very happy.
