We have used numerous car hire companies at Alicante airport and none have come near to being as good as Drivalia. At first we did not like the idea of picking the car up off airport but have found this is no problem at all as the transfer bus is quick and regular. The road just outside the compound is quiet and gives you a chance to familiarise yourself with the vehicle rather than in the dark multi storey. One aspect of the hire contract I particularly like is the option of returning the car full or empty of fuel, the full/full option being very useful if doing low mileage.

I would like to see the fee for an additional driver dropped as some other companies do not charge for this extra. While the website is very clear I don't recall it saying prices were subject to VAT.

All the staff are very courteous and friendly.

Drive Drivalia and you can't go wrong!

Please note that our prices are always quoted inclusive of VAT/IVA at 21%. However we are legally obliged to show the tax separately on our invoice so you will see a net rate (excluding tax) plus the tax. The invoice total will always be the same as quoted or as shown on our website
