“Car rental”

What is muy importante is that they don't have many cars so if a car is broken they don't give you new car. Instead you have to rent another car from another company. Maybe my english, but I never understand about the money they took. They don't answer anymore, so now I have take it to the Oficina Municipal De Informacion Al Consumidor. (read more)

They have hundreds of cars I have used them 3 times this year,great service with good prices no hidden extras check you have the correct company as alphacarhiremalaga the best I have ever used.

We have agreements with all the rentacar companies at Malaga airport if we need extra cars they will sub rent to us therefore we have never,never left a client without a car if they have hired from us properly.
Before going to waste your time with reclamation contact the company with your proper name and reference no and they will deal with your problem as we guard our reputation at all costs.

“A lot could be better”

These people could really improve their service... First, they could tell you that they charge your credit card when you book the car - even if it's 2 months before you pick up the car. Then, they could also inform you that they have no intention to pay back the deposit. IOTW, they seem to not be too serious about their business. (read more)

All deposits are refunded in accordance with the conditions of contract. Internet companies rely on good reviews and Alphacarhiremalaga has traded 20 years with thousands of satisfied clients who thankfully return to use the company year after year and recommend us to their friends.
We would not spend thousands of pounds every year advertising on the internet if we were not serious about our business and the satisfaction of our clients.
The problem with the internet is people can post statements which are not true anonimously and there is no legal recourse for the company that is attacked in the negative statement

The problem with the internet is that anyone can submit a review - even the company itself.

How can you charge my credit card for a deposit before you have delivered the car and before a contract have been written?

And most important: You never delivered the car, so how come I still haven't got my money back (that you shouldn't have taken in the first place)?

You contract the car when you complete the booking form and press send.
This contract is subject to terms and conditions as all rent a car sites.
You put your credit card as security which gives a legal right to charge .
If you cancel you have obligations.
Send your name and email so our legal department will rectify your situation

The company traded from 1988 44 Centro Salca with 10,000 clients on our data base.

I have been trying to find out more about alphacarhiremalaga without any luck. The company doesn't seem to exist in any records, but it looks like it's the same company as briansrentacar.com, since it was them who charged my credit card. I suspect that a lot of positive reviews here are done by themself. Alphacarhiremalaga never delivered the car to me and now I have spent a couple of months trying to get my money back. We have a similar experience, though the car was delievered to us.The 300 EUR deposit has never been refunded. We have written a lot of mails, no response, and Brians Rent a Car, whose name is on the receipt, won´t take responsebility.
The money should have been refunded in December
We now turned the matter over to European Consumer Centre.
Don´t rent a car here.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't got your money back.

I finally got my money back. I reported it to my bank, and they managed to claim the whole sum back. The receipt is one reason to suspect that Alpha Car Hire isn't a real company.

DON NOT USE THIS COMPANY! we did and they take a 300euro deposit off you at time of booking which 8 weeks after returning from the holiday we have yet to get back on our credit card! We did get a flat tyre while there and was advised by email that the cost to be deducted from deposit would be 85euros - steep fo flat tyre but have still not received the balance back. Yes, I've been chasing them as welll. The never delivered the car and I still haven't got my money back (over 2 months).

What is the name of the company that charged your card? In my case, the company that charged my card was "Brians rent a car"

Yes it was Brians rent a car. They were great when there just never refunded money, they have complained about this post and the review centre removed the post until I proved it was correct which it was and agve them another chance to refund but still have not.

If they haven't refunded you yet and there's no small print in the contract that makes it possible for them to not refund you, I think you shall make a formal complaint to the Malaga police.
