Although I thought that I was renting the car with Alamo, in reality I was renting the car with Locauto (the Italian representative of Enterprise/Alamo). The car they gave me at Fiumicino (Rome Airlport) was very good: a Vokswagen Polo with only 2.000 kilometers. No complaints about the car. My biggest complaint is that Donatella - the Rental assistant - did not tell me anything about the restrictions to ciculate with a car in Rome (at the ZTL area when it says "Varco Attivo " on Mondays until Thursdays between 8.00 AM and 6.00 PM and Saturdays between 2.00 PM and 6.00 PM). In United States I would sue the renting company for not having advised me about this restriction, but unfortunately this does not work in Italy. As a result I will be fined because the rental company did not advise me about this important restriction.
