Hired car from AUTO EUROPA and had a puncture and a small scrape. Expected to pay some insurance excess but had cover from Mondial Assist so wasn't worried. Did not sign anything as they said they would send a statement before taking any money. No document arrived and 2 months later this company AUTONOLEGGIO took Euros1240 from my account. In spite of a number of emails there was no response and no documents. I will be taking legal action through an Italian lawyer. Be aware that it appears that AUTO EUROPA, AUTONOLEGGIO and SICILY BY CAR could all be the same company.
