We booked a group 'C' car with the car broking agency CarDelMar (also known as carrentals.com) which we paid upfront for. We also included our flight number as can be seen on CarDelMar's reservation.
Our flight FR9884 from Liverpool landed 10 minutes early on Sat 3 June. We got through passport control, waited to collect our luggage & got out through the exit fairly quickly. We had to wait 20 minutes before we got to the counter & then got told we were too late for our car rental reservation. We then had to enter into a new contract with them at a cost of 401.79 euros.This is not our fault as we were out quickly & it was your queue. Our friends who were with Locauto/Enterprise were 2 hours late collecting their car because of the queue but their car rental was fine.
