Repairing the painting on the car is in blocks. So the whole damaged car part has to be rapinted, one scratch on the bumper, and the whole bumper is repainted. I scratched the front bumper, which was already scratched, and had to pay 100 euros, and was told that this is a very discounted price, because they have discount at the repair shop. This price was stated by the manager on the base of a photo sent to him by email. My options were to rent the car for another day for 70EUR, and have it repaired, or pay 100. Friendly. After that I went to the first repair shop to ask how much would a front bumper cost and I was told 100 EUR. So I was lied to my face about the discount. So the business model is that they collect damages on the car, make more people pay for it, and have it repaired once.

“Bad story with this car rent.....”

I rent the car from this company. The office gave my some direction for traveling. Interested thing happened after this. We traveling follow this map and car was parked on parking with many car around.... when we are coming back our car was scratched with knife or nail but car around was ok. Then again at another day on different location at same situation car was scratched again but only at another side.Then i spoke with different people about this and no one give me good opinion about this company. It looks as they have some people working for this company and doing some damages for company car.... and after you return your car back to company they never give your deposit back to you... Very nice business you pay for 11 days around 408 euro and after you cant get back tour deposit 500 euro. Good business.... Never ever go to ---- SUMMER TIME CAR RENT ------

“Rent a car in Chania cheaters / be aware !!!”

Never use SUMMER TIME RENTALS (rent a car service) !!! Just be aware with Summer time rentals (St rentals) - rent a car service. According to my experience last year they cheated on me, without any understanding after I claimed their service. They promissed me a new car, afterwards when I payed, they brought out an old scraped kia, with bad working breaks, danger to drive. They didn't wanna hear to replace me with another car !!! I spoke with the boss with iced heart and lack of intelligence. I believe he is paying for this lifetime. Don't you ever rent at Summer time rentals if you want to keep your nerves in peace!!!

THE ABOVE GENDLEMAN IS OBVIOUSLY NOT TO HIS MIND. HE FORGOT TO MENTION ALL THE FACTS, OR FOR HIS OWN REASONS HID THE TRUTH. WE , AS A COMPANY HAVE ANSWERED HIS E-MAIL OF COMPLAINT , BOTH TO HIM PERSONALLY AND ALSO TO THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM WHERE HE ALSO EXPRESSED HIS COMPLAINTS. WE ARE A COMPANY OF MORE THAN 20 YEAR IN THE BUSINESS. OUR AIM, IS TO HAVE THE BEST FOR OUR CUSTOMERS. FIRST OF ALL, WE NEED TO SPECIFY THAT OUR BUZINESS IS OPEN FROM APRIL TILL NOVEMBER . BY LAW, WE ARE OBLIGED TO HAVE CARS IN OUR FLEET THAT ARE NO OLDER THAN 5 YEARS. WE ARE ALSO OBLIGED TO PROVIDE CERTIFICATIONS FOR THE SERVICES OF THE CARS SO AS TO GUARANTEE THE PERFECT CONDITION OF THE CAR. ALL THESE CERTIFICATIONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PROVIDED WHEN ASKED, AND THEREFORE WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM AFTER THIS PERSON'S LETTER OF COMPLAINT. AS TO HIS CASE, THIS PERSON CAME TO RENT A CAR FOR 10 DAYS. HE WAS GIVEN AN OFFER, SAW THE CARS AVAILABLE, AND CHOSE THE ECONOMY CATEGORY, A KIA PICANTO. THE KIA AS A CAR, IS QUITE A GOOD CHOICE EVEN THOUGH IT IS CATEGORISED AS AN ECONOMY CAR, AS IT HAS 4 (!) DISK BRAKES. SOMETHING QUITE IMPORTANT ACTUALLY WHEN YOU DROVE BOTH ON THE MOUNTAIN AND ALSO THE HIGH WAY. THIS CAR WAS RENTED OUT TO HIM THE AT NIGHT. HE CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY, CLAIMING THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM, AND AFTER THE CAR WAS DRIVEN AND CHECKED, AND SINCE THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO (!) NO PROBLEM WHATSEOEVER, WE DEALT WITH A PERSON WHO WAS ANGRY, SWEATING AND SCREAMING ,OUT OF CONTROL, WHO DID NOT WANT THIS CAR. OF COURSE WE DO NOT OBLIGE ANYBODY TO HAVE ANYTHING FROM OUR COMPANY. WE OFFERED TO GIVE HIM ANOTHER CAR OF THE SAME CATEGORY, JUST SO HE WOULD FEEL BETTER, BUT NO. WHAT HE WANTED, WAS A 207 PEUGEOT, ANOTHER CATEGORY CAR, OBVIOUSLY A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE CAR HE HAD RENTED, BUT WITHOUT PAYING THE DIFFERENCE. THEN, HE LEFT , TOOK THE FIRST CAR AND KEPT IT FOR 10 DAYS !!!!! I JUST HAVE TO ASK, ANY REASONABLE PERSON, HOW MUCH IS YOUR LIFE WORTH ? I MEAN, IF YOU FELT YOU WERE GIVEN A BAD CAR, ESPECIALY ONE WITH BAD BRAKES, WOULD YOU STILL KEEP IT FOR SO LONG ???? SIR, PLEASE GROW UP !

Since this is already a far past for me, so I don't intend to make a words-race, especially with a person that lies so much. If he thinks he was so nice and fair to me, I just wish life will be exactly the same nice and fair to him! Than he will have a chance to rethink who is not to who's mind! I wish you will get in rent a diving equipment in the same condition as your 'perfect condition' cars! I hope you will remember me 30 meters bellow water than! As I remembered you while driving your car for 10 days. Have a life that you deserve.
