Tried to order a battery, Wanted it delivered to my work address which they couldnt do, Cancelled order. They continues to keep taking payments of £65.94 as they felt like it. Until my bank frooze my account as it looked like fraud. Called up and was told it was my fault for wanting a different address , and nothing they can do about taking money, should be returned in about a week. Charging for next day delivery is absolutely shocking when they know they cannot deliver a next day service. Response from customer services: UPS next day doesn't have tracking number??? I ordered oil, oil filter and air filter for the girlfriends VW Golf. Held on for 30 minutes waiting to get through to a customer service idiot. He kept coming and going saying hang on a minute. I wanted some bumper trim for my BMW. To cut a long, long story short despite checking with them before I bought the trim the stuff they sold me did not fit. Then they had the cheek to say we will give you free returns for YOUR, that is to say my, mistake. Duh If the website says it will fit. If I speak to them on the phone and they say it fits. Value for money when you compare to eurocarparts but it's a real nightmare when you need to return the wrong parts. Unskilled customer service, as I had to ask for a RTN (return authorisation number) three times before I was given one. A week has passed since I returned it and still no refund. Make sure you order the right part as the cost of shipping when you need to return the item is likely to be more than the price of the part itself. The part that I ordered was not as described on the internet site, after having exchanged Emails with the Customer service they said that the part was correct did not come with the bearing as described on the site. I rang for advice as to which brake discs I would need as there are two types I told the person my reg and was advised as to which one i needed i ordered it when it arrived it was the wrong one explaining this to them they said the courier would collect it and i would be refunded i finaly was refunded minus the delivery charge which would not of been an issue if they had competent staff advising people. their ethics are disgraceful. I needed a battery for my car next day so paid for the next day delivery and ordered before the cutoff. It was only after finally getting hold of someone the next day at 4pm on the live chat that I was given a tracking number and confirming delivery by the end of the day. Upon phoning the delivery company up, they confirmed that the items had just been booked in and not yet picked up from carparts4less. After 3 emails I am still awaiting a reply. (read more)

The website worked out the windscreen wipers I needed by my car registration plate. When they arrived they were the wrong ones. I phoned carparts4less and was told this often happens. They told me to return them and they would refund me, plus postage. Due to the size of the parcel the post office charged me £11.96 to return them. Ordering from this company may save you a few pounds but its a gamble every time whether they send you the right parts or now. Customer service is terrible, emails are ignored and if you a get a reply its some automated email blaming the courier for the wrong parts. I placed an order for a set of front brake pads on line with car parts for less, this was on sunday 8/4/13, its now monday the 15th and they still have not even confirmed the order but dammed quick to take the money, When I eventually get this order sorted I will be deleting them from my favorites list and will never be using them again, I would rather pay Camberley Auto factors the extra £5 and avoid all this hassle, life is just too short to mess around with companies like this. I made the mistake of thinking that this company would be ok to deal with, as they are part of Euro Car Parts. How wrong I was. I ordered a temperature switch but when it arrived, it turned out to be a mis-labelled hazard warning switch. I was just about to place a large order with Carparts4less only to find that they will only deliver to the billing address, and not to another address (I normally have parcels delivered to Parents or place of work). Carparts4less is the worst company i have EVER had to deal with. Paid for next day delivery on an order dated 15th March, now this being a friday i presumed would mean delivery by Mon/Tues by the very latest. Would not buy from this company again, seriously out of pocket! ordered and paid for a clutch and flywheel, arrived in good time which was good. How can a company that purely sell car parts get an order for a pair of front disks and pads so wrong? Disks came through no problem, in reasonable time, but no pads. At first I was very pleased as the 4 glow plugs arrived very quickly. But this changed once I saw that one of the glow plugs was the wrong one. As I am sitting around with a broken foot at the moment,or hopping around with crutches but am able to drive, a mended car is very important for me. Carparts4less customer support is rubbish. From a list given for my car registration number I contacted customer support as I was unable to identify the part I required. They had no idea which part I needed; it would appear they don’t have any technical support. I ordered what I thought to be the right part. It wasn’t. I ordered some brake discs from Car Parts 4 Less in November 2012. When they arrived it was apparent that the box had already been opened. It contained 1 correct disc and 1 disc for a much larger car. I have been trying for the past 7 weeks to obtain a refund from CP4L. CP4L have blamed their couriers for the delay - 1st for not collecting the parts promptly, then for apparently having no record of the collection. Nobody at CP4L has taken ownership of this. your so right there mate! i work in a factor shop and they have just opened a new store by the shop i work in. already ive had people come in and say there selling faulty and none genuine parts. 2 of the staff they poached from other factor shops around the area have quit because it was giving them a bad name. in future use part co or motorworld if your by them.

I have used this online supplier on a number of occasions and the items have always arrived quickly and well packaged. However the only time i have contacted them to ask advice on an item their response was a little confusing and the person i spoke to was unsure if the item was suitable. Been using Carparts4less on a regular basis for a while now, I assume they are a (online)subdivision of Eurocarparts. The prices just cant be beaten as a non trade customer and quite often a choice of maufacturers. I have nearly always received next morning delivery, never more that two days despite living out in the countryside. Received my order all packaging broken open fittings missing out of boxes. Contacted customer service who eventually replied, they claim the parts that were missing did not come with the order. The truth is the parts had been opened prior to delivery and fittings removed. They have agreed to take them back at my expence but only if returned in origanal packaging undamaged ready for resale. Ordered Bosch 72AH battery for Freelander, Car parts 4 less sent BOSCH 60AH battery despite invoice stating 72AH unit. When I asked for the correct one to be sent they stated I would have to order again and they would only credit my CC when the wrong battery was recieved back. Wish I'd seen this feedback first. I've just ordered a battery for the same car, and been told by the couriers that it has been damaged. Am getting nowhere with the company, and can't even establish if I'm going to get a replacement now. Meanwhile, car useless, and don't know whether to go buy one somewhere else, or will I then be stuck with two batteries.

These guys have great prices but they have terrible customer service, worse than that they use YODEL for deliveries, The last 2 orders I have paid for next day delivery and never received them. They use Yodel (stars of BBC Watchdog) Yodel take the parcel then give it to a man with a van and they have no way of tracking the orders and don't care much the same as carparts4less customer service. Use Euro Car Parts instead at least you can talk to them and you get what you order on time. (read more)

I bought rear Eicher brake discs, Pagid brake pads, and a Pagid handbrake cable for my Audi A4, all for £65 with free delivery. Items arrived in under 48 hours and well packed. I am glad that I didn't take too much notice of the poor reviews on this site. I found another site which has far more reviews for this supplier, and the vast majority are positive. (read more)

I had exactly the same problem! I received a message from carparts4less stating that my payment was declined due to an error with the card details I submitted. I stupidly made a new order, checking that my card details were correct. Again, payment was declined but I discovered that payment had gone out of my account. I phoned up to find out what the situation was and was told that the bank would have moved the money in to a 'holding area'. A phone call to the bank let me know that the payments had been authorised! Another phone call to Carparts and the blame was now placed on their merchant services provider who will have found a discrepancy with my personal details (the same ones I have been using for years and never had a problem with elsewhere). I cancelled the orders to ensure the payments would not be taken at a later stage and ordered parts from elsewhere.
