dangerous drivers seat

I Bought a mazda 6 from car select August 2013 by January 2014 the drivers seat had become loose and dangerous, it rocked back and forth and side to side when driving. On inspection i found 2 washers on the floor underneath the seat that were obviously attached to the seat mechanism somewhere, I also saw that that a steel bar had been welded into place underneath the seat.

1. Car select claimed the car had been given a multipoint check and looked over thoroughly before it goes onto the forecourt. This obviously isnt true or they turned a blind eye to the seat to get an easy quick sale.

2. upon calling car select to make a claim on their 12 month warranty and stating the problem this was the response "The seats are not covered under warranty so get it seen to at a garage not a mazda dealer becuase it would be cheaper theyre" this was all that car select had to say about the matter.

if you are going to purchase a car from here make sure you have an independant check on it as soon as you have it, i think you only get 7 days to return it though.

The warranty states having "peace of mind motoring protection" and " almost all electrical AND mechanical parts are covered" obviously this isnt the case so be wary of this company and the warranty as its not really worth the papaer its written on.
