I looked on DriveTheDeal.com after test driving a second hand 2014 Renault Sport Tourer at a local dealer, only to find that I could get a new one for less money. This allowed me to upgrade to a near top of the range model (GT Line) and specify a more powerful engine (1.6 diesel). I was also able to add a sun roof and spare wheel all for slightly more than the 2014 car.

If you think this seems to good to be true, you'd be WRONG.

The only difference that might be seen as a downside to buying a car from a dealer, is that Drive The Deal will pick the dealer for you. Mine wasn't too far, so I picked up the car myself. However if you prefer, it is usually possible for the car to be delivered.
