I ordered the car to be delivered straight from the factory - around a 8-10 week wait. A couple of days later I was phoned to be told there was a new car to exactly the same specs as I had ordered, ready to be delivered and at a slightly lower price than I had already accepted.
I was sceptical & needed assurance that the car really had not been driven, had zero miles on the clock and that my name would be on the V5. But the car arrived exactly as advertised at 9am. I haven't seen the V5 yet (it's only a few days after delivery, so I'm not expecting it for a few more days) but I have no reason the believe it won't have my name as original owner.
All in all everything happened exactly as planned and I have a new Qashqai at 4000 pounds below list price.
