i thought i was buying a new CAR. but they register the car in a hire car companies name and wont give you the logbook for 6 MONTHS. leaving you UNINSURED, as just about all insurance companies require you to be the registered KEEPER. ...A hire car company gets a "FLEET CODE" from the manufacturers which gives him say 2500 cashback for each car he buys from THEM(ONLY to be used as a hire car THOUGH) also he doesnt have to pay vat on a new car purchased for hire USAGE.. then sells the car to you breaking his terms and conditions , which is why he will keep the logbook for 6 months , to show the manufacturer if they audit HIM... just stay away from this crowd ...PLEASE

Dont see what the problem is with a pre-reg car if you are made aware. I also dealt with (name removed) and have wrote him a small review on here. Seen as most other people have given positive reviews I presume this was sour grapes/one off!!

was not made aware
if I had written my car off and had told my insurance company I would be the registered keeper and owner of the car as asked when insuring it
they would want the logbook to scrap the vehicle before paying out on it
and I would not have it and therefore be in breech of my insurance terms and not get paid
I cannot get paid out when the car is not in my name
like I say 6 months then logbook comes in hire car companies name
I got in touch with Peugeot fleet management team
they thanked me for info
just used carwow, better price, deal with main dealers, excellent
