Took my Mercedes for MOT and service. Failed MOT due to brakes. They offered to repair them at a cost of nearly £200. I declined as the car had done very few miles since the last test.
I took it to another garage and it passed. I asked the tester about the brakes and he said there was a slight deficiency in the rear brakes but it was not a fail and not even an advisory.
They charged me £4 30 for washer fluid even although I had topped it up to the brim a couple of days earlier and had never used any. When I queried it the said it was part of the service.
They also replaced the battery in my key fob at a charge of £8.
Would have been nice to have been asked as the old one was working perfectly well.
