i have had the Canon A1 camera since 1976 and i still have the camera with sppedlite 199a and also motor drive that lets the camera do five frames a second. also able to take a picture over a picture. also have 50mm and 135mm. have other cameras but i still prefer this because of flexability

Item: Canon F-1
I bought my 38 year old Canon F1 with a titanium focal plane shutter at the NKP BX in Apr. 1971. I carried it all through SEA (SVN, Cambodia, Laos) and took a significant number of my pics. as a combat pilot with it. It has worn like iron and, even after 1000s of photo shoots with it on most of the continents, it has required only one minor repair (battery contact). I am currently looking for a replacement 625 battery for it. Even though I have too many modern day digital cameras to count, ...

Item: Canon AE-1
I bought my Canon AE-1 Program in a flee market some 5 years ago. Didn't know if it worked properly or if I could work it properly.
Put in new batteries and ran a roll of film. WOW ! ! !
Since then I bought a 28mm and 100-200mm lens. All pictures turned out great.
So I just got an A-1 from ebay along with about a douzen other vintage cameras and this one seem s great also.
As a matter of fact, I just purchased another AE-1 for my niece as she loves photography as I beleive ...

Item: Canon A1
I, just last week, traded a framed, matted print from my gallery for an A-1. I made the trade because I wanted something of quality which would take multiple exposures.
I have used Canon in the past, so assumed it would be a rugged, reliable camera. I'm not very disappointed. The lens is stuck, so I can't get it off.

The Cannon EOS 500 is simple to use and cheap to run. Though battery may run out quick. Good all around camera.
