I go on annual treks and hikes, generally in the autumn or spring when routes are not too touristy or busy. Generally I go for mountainous terrain, whether in the Scottish Highlands or the Pyrenees, and this coupled with the time of year that I tend to go at serious wet weather. Until recently I made do with a simple hikers day bag, which has a little waterproof cover that can be taken out and wrapped over the bag. The bedroom curtains were ingrained with mould as were many area's of the bathroom and shower. Broken and part missing door handles and door frames throughout the… Read Full Review

Big site for camping an caravans, was a little concerned on check in that there was no firm pitch assigned for this busy bank holiday weekend and a total disregard of the 6m fire break between pitches rule. Very small and dirty facilities, only two showers and 3 toilet cubicles per gender for well over 500 campers! The weekend got worse when the drains blocked an raw sewage was gushing into the children's play area, this happened at least 3 times over the weekend. Blamed on kids thawing stones… Read Full Review
