“What a Joke- BEWARE of this company. Do Not do”

Written on: 11/09/2015

What a Joke, I signed up for the 14-day trial and became frustrated because their site was so cumbersome and resumes suggested were generic. I ended up writing my own resume and did a better job then (RESUME NOT). One day prior to the end of the trial period I was billed $40.00. When I called to cancel and have the $40 reversed I was told that they could/would not since time expired at midnight prior to the 14th day! Watch out for this company the product and customer service sucks!  -… Read Full Review

“Misrepresented Waste of Time”

Written on: 25/09/2014 by McDougall83 (1 review written)

I went to resume-now because I haven't had an updated resume in a while. The initial page tells you that the service is free. I spent close to two hours writing my resume. This would not be as bad except that they tell you before you do the resume that it is free… Read Full Review

You spend a good amount of time creating a resume on this site and then upon completion, you find out what you have created is held hostage until you subscribe to the service. From the initial bait online, it is presented as a free basic service. Very deceptive… Read Full Review

“It was great, easy to use, and my resume looked fantastic”

Livecareer made it easy for me to build a resume and create a few different versions of it because I’m interested in two different career paths. I like the cover letter feature because it gave me the write words to use. I had some questions about the formatting and was able to chat with their customer service to get my questions answered. Overall, it was a big help and relief to get my resumes done… Read Full Review
