I bought this single shot bolt action co2 pistol because I just love Crossman and its heritage (with Benjamin as well)
I was informed of its high power output and liked the price which varies from £77 to £99. I dont agree that its high powered as co2 is so temperature sensitive in our current climate its hard to judge the muzzle velocity I would not use it for hunting or dispatch as it is advertised as being the rat buster pistol.
I do like the recoiless shooting and with a silencer it is silent, you can buy a silencer adapter for about a £10 and is necessary due to the loud muzzle report. to fit a silencer you must cut the front sight and knock it up the barrel and even then you cant see the front sight if a large silencer is used. For £14 you can buy scope mounts that fit onto the accurately rifled barrel and put on a scope which I have done (BSA 1.5 x 15). Perfect! the accuracy is amazing. also I had a mate make up some lovely handles from Birch ply and these give it a solid look and feel. I love these cheap and simple mods which transform its look. maybe when the sun comes out the power will increase! I get 55 useable shots per 75p gas canister.
