So, So good!

From the first point of contact I knew I would love every second of my time with this training centre. Having completed my CBT with a different company, I was wary of a reoccurrence of the rude, unfriendly and arrogant motorcycle instructor type. This was not the case with NLMT, they offered a FREE assessment ride which gave me vital information regarding my riding and how I can improve. There are no hidden costs (i.e. motorcycle hire/insurance) and the DAS prices were very competitive.

The lovely girls running the office are an absolute delight and greet you like an old friend, all of the instructors are extremely friendly and have a great sense of humour. The lockup has a wide array of bikes of all sizes alongside a workshop and new bikes shop, immediately you get the sense that everyone around is a motorcycle fanatic and love their jobs.

As for my actual training, I did a 4 day DAS with both my MOD1 and MOD2 tests on the final day. My instructor was a true professional, super patient, friendly and most importantly very clear with his feedback on how to improve and what I was doing wrong. I was taken on a wide variety of routes featuring twisty country roads, national speed limit A roads and tight urban areas.
By the time I reached test day I was full of confidence in my riding and had no doubts that I knew I was fully prepared to pass, the only reason I'd fail was if I didn't believe in myself. I managed to pass MOD 1 with 0 faults and MOD 2 with 6 minors and a few weeks on I'm now riding the beast of a motorbike I've always dreamt of, however, with the confidence and skills that my training gave me. I know experience is the most important ingredient in staying safe on the road, however, NLMT have given me the tools I need to stay safe and continually improve my riding.

I cannot recommend this training school enough, I simply do not have a single bad word I could possibly say. Even if its another £100 more than a different school, just go with NLMT, they are worth every penny and you won't regret it!
