Do not bank with Lloyds TSB. I have been a customer for 10 years, business customer for 3. The 'service' I've received from them has been absolutely shocking in every aspect. Simple things like paying is U.S dollar cheques and making foreign payments are an absolute nightmare. Nobody knows what they are doing and the call centers are even worse. You don't have a dedicated business manager - it changes on a weekly basis. No one ever returns your calls, and you are constantly passed from pillar to post. The amount of time I have wasted with this bank is ridiculous and highly frustrating. They are the most un-helpful bank with the most useless staff who haven't got a clue! I recently wanted to change my business account from sole trader to limited company. It was extremely difficult just to get the account opened....then the fun began. I opened this limited account in early March, I simply wanted to transfer everything from my sole trader account over to the limited account including my overdraft facility (you'd think this would be a very straight forward matter, but NO!). Well, it's almost June and over 30 phone calls later I still haven't been able to resolve this or begin trading through my limited company account. I have had enough, I've given them so many chances and every time, never cease to be amazed at how useless they really are. The bank charges are also extremely high, all this bank is interested in is offering insurance and selling extortionate interest loans. I am moving to RBS, they give you a LOCAL business manager who will visit you personally and have direct contact through ONE direct telephone number. Talk with your feet and DO NOT BANK WITH LLOYDS TSB. I WILL BE SO HAPPY WHEN I LEAVE THIS BANK!!!!!
