As usual, a very fast talking lady, first thing in the morning, so it was a little confusing to start, so beware. Then she said I could get access to £10,000-£20,000 funding for expansion of my business, however there was going to be a £189 membership fee (or something along the lines of that), and asked for my card details. I've been on other funding/ grant sites and successfully received grants and there has always been a membership fee, so i wasn't surprised. However, taking my card details over the phone was a little disconcerting. I gave it anyway. After i gave it she said there was going to be a £14.99 direct debit for a monthly magazine from this card, which set my alarm bells going.

After the phone conversation with this very fast talking lady, i called back the phone line on their site, and was sent to a voice mail, to leave a message and request for a call back. Not a good sign.

I googled "Business Funding Phone Scam" and was directed here.

I immediately called my bank to report the case, luckily i was fast and they had not debited my account, so I reported my card as STOLEN, and had it cancelled immediately.

I just got 6 continuous missed calls from this fast talking lady, which i have ignored and eventually blocked. .
