The woman on the other end couldn't have asked for my bank details fast enough..when I decided towards the end that she couldn't take money just yet as I began to question exactly what I was paying for..(surely if the government wants to help businesses it should be accessible information) basically it didn't make sense to pay 400 quid where there wasn't any guarantees...she even went on to say there's thousands of grants and loans and if I searched for myself it would be time consuming and most would have expired. Ohhh and some lady the month before got 7k of grant she didnt have to pay back ... Etc....TOTAL nonsense. I found all the companies I needed to approach in seconds off google..FOR FREE.. Now this part really got me mad! When I said they can't take any money as I don't want the service (bear in mind I'm still on the phone to her ) she says it's too late as by giving me your bank details you have consented..(erhhh what company doesn't even have a cooling off period? Well I was LUCKY! I had a feeling she was lying and jumped straight onto my pin sentry for online banking..transferred ALL my hard earned money into savings....a few minutes later some bloke calls asking for an alternate card as the one I gave declined...I told him what happened and that was that..I had the last laugh!
