“AWFUL.THEY GO FOR HARD SALE, TERRIBLE...”

Appalling. They caught me off-guard with a phone sales pitch when I was precisely thinking of setting up an online shop. Their sales representative promises had nothing to do with the service that was (not) provided. He said that Freestart would set up the shop for me, which they did only in a very small part. So I had to do it myself. Do you think they would have sent me a User's manual with the welcome pack? Think again. No such welcome pack. I had to ask for the User's manual. The guy... (read more)

“Freestart PLC are only interested in taking your money”

I have been a customer of Freestart PLC for about 8 yrs and have managed to dodge most of their notorious sales pitches. Last year I was sold a Beugle site which for me was a complete non-starter, as I don't sell over the internet. Its use wasn't properly explained to me. However, that has now expired and I just put the matter down to bad experience. In February this year I decided I needed to update my website. This client has now been sorted out.

As stated in a previous review, which I've chosen to withdraw, I've been a customer of Freestart PLC for about 8yrs and had always been satisfied with the service until a recent problem arose. However, the complaints I had have been listened to and an agreement has been reached about the work carried out on my website.

This company will tell you anything to get a sale, but want they don't tell you is that you are signing up to a 2 year agreement, with awful customer service,never done what they said they would.I agree with the other reviews they mis sold us this product and lead us to believe it was a one of payment. Avoid this company like the plague. Also have reported them to Citizen Advice Bureau, and Office of Fair Trading! (read more)

“Customer service nightmare”

I was harassed on a daily basis to take this wonderful offer up, at the time I was vunerable and I did agree to sign up on behalf of my self employed husband who does not use a computer. I realised too late that this was not what we needed and asked for a refund as we have not even attempted to use the product.No and we were also told that I had agreed to 2 years but please see the reply I received from the company; I am sorry to hear about your bereavements and truly understand you... “Complete Rip Off - Stick well clear, also called Buegle”

Their product does not work well. The instructions they give you for their site are not even written for the software they provide you with They signed me up for an annual service and never tell you it is a two year contract. Just read all the other reviews on them. I can only think that the couple of positive reviews are written by themselves. Have a look at the reviews for this company Freestart PLC on Trustpilot they are damming. The slick cold-calling sales person sells you a solution BUEGLE that drops your Ebay Store down onto Facebook, tells you it is easy to do, you get sold on the idea of accessing a new marketplace easily and cheaply BUT the reality is totally different. The product is unuseable for any business with multiple SKU's and product variations, it is not easy to use, and Freestart's Customer Support is a waste... (read more)

“Freestart are the best value website developers ever!!”

I started with an e commerce site for a business that didn't work out 8 or 9 years ago. They completely revamped my site and I reused it for my current business which is thriving and we get 90% of our business from our freestart website. It is so simple to use and update that we can stay ahead of our competitors, it also allows me to get good google rankings. This company stands out from the rest for me , I went online with them just 18 months ago and My business has flurished ever since my site is getting 2000 visits per month and growing with The marketing on google they do for me and now Im on Facebook as well, and there staff are An absolute joy to deal with. I think this review must have been written by its very dodgy owner or one of his employees lol.I have worked for this company in the past and it is very dodgy,used to say it was government funded when it wasnt.Stay well away.
