I have regularly travelled on National Express coaches from Leeds to London and return this year and can say they are REALLY POOR journey after journey. Although they advertise POWER SOCKETS and air-coolant this is not the case on this 200 mile journey. I have had to change coaches during a journey due to malfunctioning of the vehicles and have been left on numerous occasions on days where the temperature has ranged between 22 to 32 degrees with no air coolant and a coach with no opening windows other than the drivers. The stench from the toilet has been sickening and both passengers and driver have struggled to cope. This time driver was eating an bagel and drinking a bottle of squash whilst driving! Am now going to report this illegal action.
