Coach Broker

On Wednesday 26th August 2015 we organised a bus to take us to Reading Festival through COACH BROKER. We were given a bus that was provided by RICKS TRAVEL. The bus was oranisged to pick us up from the festival at 12 noon on Monday 31st August (Bank holiday) After waiting for half an hour, allowing for traffic, the bus still hadnt shown up so we tried to call the number of RICKS TRAVEL lots of times. There was no answer. After waiting for an hour or more we decidied we should try their emergency number that was provided on the website..however there was no answer also! This left us with no choice that to contact another bus company, BIZZY BEES, and organise a new bus last minute and on bank holiday. Costing us, 21 under 19 year olds, an additional £450 to the £650 we paid for the original bus from RICKS TRAVEL. We were unable to get hold of them all of monday. We were left waiting outside the festival for 6 hours in the pouring rain before we were able to start out journey home. On tuesday we rang to ask what had happened and the man, who was extremly rude, uniterested and unhelpful, told us that the driver had called in sick however on another occassion told us that the driver had gone on holiday. He then told us to contact COACH BROKER, when we had told them what happened they contacted RICKS TRAVEL, who had yet again fabricated another story about how the bus had broken down on the way to collect us and had tried to call around to organise a new bus for us and that it was out of their control that we were inconvienienced.COACH BROKER believed this pack of lies, outrageously, and have just wanted to forget about the issue. There was no efforts made to compensate us and no responsiblitly was taken by either companies. If you are looking to book a bus then I would steer clear of this

I called coach company to change my 25 seater to a 16 seater as it cheaper got an email saying it will be £86 cheaper where online it says £300. So o decided to keep the bigger coach for the sake of £86. And they still sent smaller coach Anyway and emailed for compensation or difference and they said there is no difference in price.

We booked a coach from Manchester to the races for 4pm. At 4.10pm there was no sign of it so we called for an update. After being placed on hold we were told, it had broken down, but a replacement would be with us imminently. at 4.30pm I called again. We were told the replacement had broken down, and another replacement would be sent. At 5pm we called again, we were told to call the coach company; Coach broker was just a broker and was not responsible for the delay. We called the coach company and spoke with the driver. He had no broken down and was stuck in Birmingham.

A number of calls back and forth continued. Coach broker basically passed the issue to the coach company, who, in turn stopped answering the phone. They would not help in creating a solution, and would not engage.

Unfortunately no coach turned up and we missed the races and Madness concert which followed. We have yet to have any contact and we are yet to have any money returned

I called to book a coach for my nephews wedding in march 2015, my call was handled by  a very very helpful sales person. , excellent customer service skills very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for making my experience so pleasant.

i was dealing with J from the coach broker group. he was very helpful and took a quick amount of time to send me a very competitive quote. there was on eissue when we tried to get a receipt for our payment and nobody seemed able to help us, which got me nervous that the booking didnt go through. in the end however, i managed to contact a different number mentioned on the contract and they confirmed my booking and i just dealt with them directly regarding timing. we also got a much nicer coach than we requested with extra seats which was also a nice bonus, so even with all the stress, it worked out nicely in the end!

Very good company to use . Took the hassle out of finding appropriate holiday transport to and from our destination. The driver was extremely helpful and polite and cheerful which gave us a good start to the holiday and a fitting end. The broker I spoke to and completed our booking with was also very helpful and solved the issues of getting a family of six on and off of holiday with great advice on what would be apt for our needs and saved us money by advising us we could get a more suitably sized vehicle. All in all a very easy and hassle free experience with a company that delivered on all aspects of the logistics and service involved,we will be using them again next year for our family holiday as it made the holiday a lot less stressful knowing the transport was arranged and under guarantee to arrive as planned.

The service itself went perfectly fine. The coach arrived on time and even accept a last minute change of drop off point due to circunstances out of our control. The communication with Coach Broker could be improved. We were charged twice by error and had to ask for the refund. We also asked for a VAT invoice and received just an email missing most of the information we needed to appear.

We used this company for our annual day out. The service was very good and the coaches provided were very clean and modern. The drivers were exceptionally good and helped us out during the day. Nothing was too much for them and as the organiser it made my job a lot easier.

They were a tad bit late, but made it up with effective and safe driving to get us to our eventual destination on time. We were given the the wrong address and when informing our driver we needed to be somewhere else 40 minutes away, he didn't hesitate getting us there. Top driver who made sure we were all safe and sound. The coach unfortunately didn't have warm showers and a changing room but the heater did help warm us up after gorge scrambling activity.

Our driver was fantastic! Our group included some retired persons and he was not only patient but sympathetic to their needs. The coach was clean and entertainment in the form of CD/DVD was provided. All in all a fantastic experience and I would firmly recommend this coach company to everyone whatever trip you are planning - J.E.F
